Update Controller
Learn how to update your boneIO Black controller.
Updating your boneIO controller is simple and can be done in two ways, directly from your Home Assistant Settings Tab, or from the web interface.
Requirements
- The controller must have an internet connection
- You need to install boneIO Black Dashboard in your Home Assistant
How to update?
From your Home Assistant
- Open your settings tab,
- Clic on boneIO update,
- Press Update,
- Thats all!
From WebUi
- Open the controller's web interface in your browser
- Go to the System tab
- Click the Check for Updates button
- If a new version is available, click Update Now
The update process will start automatically. After completion, the controller will restart.
Important information
- Do not turn off the controller's power during the update
- The update may take a few minutes
- After the update, the application on the controller will automatically restart
Update via SSH
